# Spelthorne Archers

Spelthorne Archers is a well-established target archery club based in Sunbury-on-Thames, Middlesex, serving archers across Surrey, Middlesex and surrounding areas including Spelthorne, Feltham, Richmond and Elmbridge. Founded in 1985, the club has operated from its current exclusive shooting range in Sunbury since 1994.

The club welcomes archers of all ages (8 to 80+) and skill levels, accommodating all archery styles including recurve, longbow and compound bows. Their experienced members provide personalised coaching and guidance to help members progress regardless of ability. This inclusive approach makes them distinctive in the local archery community.

Spelthorne offers comprehensive facilities including outdoor shooting grounds available daily (except Mondays) with full imperial and metric distance capabilities, plus an indoor range utilised during winter months with Sunday morning sessions. This dual facility setup enables year-round shooting and competition preparation.

The club boasts a strong competitive pedigree, having hosted regional and county matches, county indoor championships and participated in national and county postal leagues. They regularly invite neighbouring clubs for friendly competitions, fostering a welcoming community atmosphere alongside serious competitive opportunities.
