Ratpack Field Archers is an established archery club based near Arundel in West Sussex, operating across 30 acres of woodland terrain. Founded in 1998 and affiliated with the NFAS (National Field Archery Society), the club specialises in field archery—a discipline that simulates hunting through shooting at animal targets, 3D figures, 2D boards and custom targets across unmarked distances.
The club serves recreational archers of all skill levels, from complete beginners through to experienced shooters. Unlike traditional target archery, field archery offers a dynamic, outdoor experience akin to a woodland golf course, where participants navigate multiple unmarked shooting pegs at varying distances, challenging their accuracy and adaptability with each shot.

The course operates 24/7, 365 days annually (except essential closure days), accommodating both casual weekend visitors and dedicated archers seeking flexible training schedules. Club meetings run on Saturdays and Sundays, providing structured community engagement and coaching opportunities.
The welcoming approach extends to beginners, with dedicated courses enabling newcomers to gain NFAS full shooting membership and develop their skills. The club accepts all bow styles (except crossbows) and maintains professional standards regarding equipment safety.
