Kirton in Lindsey Archery Club (KLAC) is a welcoming community archery club established in 2014, serving archers of all ages and abilities across Lincolnshire. Based primarily at KLASSIC Park in Kirton in Lindsey with additional indoor sessions at West Lindsey Sports Centre in Gainsborough, the club caters to anyone aged seven and above, from complete beginners to competitive archers.
The club distinguishes itself through its diverse coaching team: two Archery GB Development coaches and three session coaches provide tailored instruction across all experience levels. Members enjoy exceptional versatility in bow types, shooting everything from traditional longbows and Mongolian horse bows to modern recurve and compound equipment. This inclusive approach extends to shooting distances, with outdoor ranges spanning 10 to 185 yards at KLASSIC Park and indoor 20-30 yard distances at the leisure centre.
KLAC stands out for its structured yet accessible offerings. Beyond regular weekly sessions, the club actively promotes archery within the community through beginners' courses, taster sessions and have-a-go events for local groups.
